ABOUT US

The Women’s Club Basketball team at the University of Virginia is a self-governed organization that gives women the opportunity to participate in a non-varsity sport. The club gives women the chance to begin or continue playing organized basketball, while getting the full college experience. We are a group of about 12 girls who love and are dedicated to sport, while also remaining dedicated to our academics and pursuing our other interests at the University. We compete in the Division I level of the NIRSA (National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association) Club Basketball Conference. The team practices twice a week for tournaments across the East Coast. Each fall semester we hold tryouts open to any students enrolled in the University.
